WikiFur has over 1000 visitors a month with Norwegian (Bokmål) set as their browser language [and 15 with Nynorsk . . .]
These people want to read about furry topics. I suspect some would like to write, too, but are not confident enough to do so in English.
There do not seem to be many
Norwegian-language furry websites. This forum is great, but a forum is not a very good way to provide organized information. I see the
FAQ, but there is room to say much more. (WikiFur's address needs updating to wikifur.com there, too ;-).
I know the Norwegian community does not have that many people, but I think a new website might help with that. So . . . does anyone feel like
starting a Norwegian edition of WikiFur?
Timduru and I can provide wiki hosting and advice (as we do for
Russian,
Spanish and other languages); you would just have to write or translate articles - like
these - and organize other editors' contributions.
Our Swedish sister project
WikiLurv has created over 150 articles in just a few months. Norwegian could work, too - it just needs a few people to start it.
If you're interested - even if you just like the idea - please let me know here.
Edit: You can use Norwegian to discuss the idea if you don't feel comfortable with English, I can read in translation.
