I just joined google+, and apparently now i can invite people too. So i figured maybe someone here might want to look into it too. It's new after all. Just leave an email address here and i'll send an invite your way.

As far as I know anyone with a gmail account should be able to join now, without having to be invited. I could of course be wrong, but like I said, 'as far as I know'.

I had a gmail account, but i couldn't join. It only said something like "too many people have joined, so we had to close registration for now. Leave your email address and you will be the first to know when we open it up to the public". Well, that's the gist of it anyway. I got an invite tho, so then i joined^^,
Either way, people might always try to join without an invite. If they can't join /that/ way, the invites are waiting for them right here^^,

So, the big selling point with G + seems to be that you can create circles, and choose to share things with friends who are only in certain circles. But are the circles you create shown publicly on your profile? So that people who aren't in the circles can see what circles you've created, but can't see what's posted in the circles. And is it possible to have "secret friends"? Eg. if you are a closet fur, like myself, but want to be friends with other furs in G +, will everyone else necessarily see that I'm friends with them?

No, only you see your circles.

It's possible to hide the visibility of both who you have in circles and who have you in circles on your profile, but if they went to the other people's profiles they could see that you were in that person's circles and/or have them in yours. But short answer, on your profile, you can hide all info about who you have your circles all together.

I think g+ is better than facebook. I've already moved over from there. Facebook is so 2001:p (When was facebook launched anyway?).
